OUR STORY

Hi, I'm Jim, Swell Boat Club's owner and founder. After owning boats for several years with constant headaches and problems I'd had enough of owning boats and sold up! Swell Boat Club started from a simple idea - owning a boat just doesn’t make sense for most people these days.

I’ve always frothed being out on the water, ever since I could first hold a fishing rod! Fishing, cruising, spending time with mates - that’s where the best memories are made. But the reality of owning a boat is a different story. Maintenance, storage, rego, insurance, constant costs… and most of the time your boat is just sitting there depreciating away in the harsh aussie elements.

The lifestyle is great. The ownership isn’t. So I thought - why not flip it? Swell Boat Club gives you access to the boating lifestyle without the hassle. No maintenance, no hidden costs - just book a boat, grab your mates, and get out there. At the end of the day, it’s about making it easier to spend more time on the water, doing the things you love!
